On the occasion of the International Year of chemistry and the joint celebration of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy,
the chemistry department of the University of Turin has promoted the publication of a periodical containing articles of chemistry informative and also directed to an audience untrained in the field.
The plan provides for the editorial output of 8 issues between now and December, all downloadable for free in electronic format at http://www.alambicco.unito.it/numeri_alambicco.html . Each issue focuses on a topic. In January, talks about the role of chemistry in the field of fashion and beauty, health and hygiene are treated in February. The articles are written by professors and researchers.
