Stewart Copeland was born in Alexandria, USA, July 16, 1952, the family moved to Beirut, where the young Stewart more or less than thirteen years he devoted himself to the battery.
In 1966 the family moved to England, then joined the band Curved Air after a concert by the band performed on stage where the band was performing, the young Sting.
along with Sting and Stewart Copeland founded the Police Henry Padovani, then Padovani will be replaced by Andy Summers.
With Police was immediately successful, then embarked on a solo career and made a number of collaborations.
